The Christmas season is my favorite time of year! It has celebrations, festivals, holiday spirit, and Christmas markets! I mean who doesn't love Christmas markets? Local Tip: If you are looking for more Christmas activities, enjoy ice skating by the sea at the Hotel del Coronado, watch the annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights at Seaport Village, and enjoy craft cocktails at a Draft Christmas pop-up bar.
This annual holiday market at Petco Park (Home of the Padres) in downtown San Diego, features local artisan shops, seasonal food, and beverages. The market also includes decorative Christmas light displays. This is a market for the entire family to enjoy!

Head to one of the most beautiful parks in San Diego for the largest free holiday market in the city! Over 350,000 people enjoy this market every year! From live entertainment and cultural food options to holiday performances, there is something to see and do at every turn.
Dates: Friday, December 6th from 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Every year Little Italy is transformed into an urban holiday market. The streets are lined with 10-foot-tall nutcrackers, local vendors, holiday treats, and live music. In addition to the market, there is also a tree-lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. If you are in the mood for a meal instead of holiday treats, stop by one of the delicious Italian restaurants for a late lunch or dinner.

The City of Chula Vista is hosting the 60th Annual Starlight Parade and Festival holiday celebration in Downtown Chula Vista! The event will feature a holiday market, live music, photos with Santa Claus, and an official tree-lighting ceremony.
Dates: December 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Tree lighting is at 5:45 p.m.), Starlight parade starts at 6:00 p.m.

The Annual Holiday Village in La Mesa is an excellent event for everyone! Explore La Mesa's historic downtown as you shop at the local vendors. Stroll the streets and enjoy the beautiful storefront decorations! Enjoy photos with Santa, Christmas carols from local schools, an inflatable winter wonderland, and fire pits.
